West Wareham Man Charged With Child Pornography Offenses

BOSTON (WBSM) — A West Wareham man has been charged by complaint in federal court Friday of receiving and possessing child pornography.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Joshua Roe, 37, was arrested on September 6 on a criminal complaint charging him with one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

Roe was scheduled to appear in federal court on Friday.

A search of Roe’s home on Friday turned up approximately 11 electronic devices belonging to Roe, which the criminal complaint alleges at least one of which contained images and videos depicting child pornography.
