Wareham Sip & Stroll Harvest Fest Coming to Besse Park
Pumpkins, cool temperatures, leaves turning colors, all signs of the fall season. Sip & Stroll Harvest Fest in Wareham has all of that and much more.
Event Details and Free Admission at Wareham's Besse Park
Harvest Fest happens October 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Besse Park in Wareham. Admission is free. Organizer Lorna Brunelle provided Townsquare Sunday with a rundown this week.
Vendor Highlights, Local Food Trucks, and Cranberry Bogs
"There will be more than 100 vendors, focusing on the autumn vibe," Brunelle said. "We have something for everyone, from homemade soap to pottery, flannel clothing, cutting boards made by a 90-year-old veteran, pet clothing items and much, much more."

There will be plenty of food offerings from a variety of food trucks featuring pulled pork, sandwiches, coffee treats, caramel apples and more, to nearby Warren's Harborview Restaurant with delicious seafood on the menu.

"People come from all over to see the foliage and the harvesting of the cranberry bogs," Brunelle said. "We want to celebrate all of that. We encourage people to poke around and experience the beauty of Wareham during the fall harvest."
Community Support and Burt Wood School Scholarships
Harvest Fest is sponsored by the Wareham Redevelopment Authority. "They're fantastic," Brunelle said. "They have offered us unlimited support, whether it's space at the park, working closely with us to put together the best plan to make the event happen seamlessly, and they also help us with financial support so we can afford to be in Besse Park."
All of the Sip & Stroll events also raise funds for scholarships for young people to attend the Burt Wood School for Performing Arts in Middleboro.
