Spirit Christmas Is Returning to Dartmouth, But in a Brand-New Location

NORTH DARTMOUTH (WBSM) — We haven’t even reached Halloween yet, but many of you out there are already wondering if Spirit Christmas is returning to Dartmouth this holiday season.

The answer is yes, but it won’t be in the same spot it has occupied since the holiday-themed store first opened in Dartmouth in 2024.

Spirit Christmas Moved from Ann & Hope Plaza

Previously, Spirit Christmas was in its spiritual sister store, the former Christmas Tree Shops location in the former Ann & Hope Plaza. It returned to that spot in 2025, but now that is the site of a planned Big Y location that will open in the spring or summer of next year.

Spirit Christmas Dartmouth Address & Location Details

That was also the site of Spirit Halloween from August through October each year. Dartmouth was also unique in that it was one of the few Massachusetts cities or towns that actually had two Spirit Halloween stores, with the other located in the former Office Max at 388 State Road, inside the Dartmouth Towne Center plaza.

This year, the former Office Max was the site of Dartmouth’s lone Spirit Halloween – new SouthCoast stores opened in Fairhaven and Wareham, though – and it will also be the location of the SouthCoast’s only Spirit Christmas starting in November.

Full List of Spirit Christmas Locations in Massachusetts & New England

There are only two other Spirit Christmas locations planned in Massachusetts: 1360 South Washington Street in North Attleboro (the former Bed, Bath and Beyond) and 1318 Worcester street in Natick (next to Skechers).

The only other Spirit Christmas stores in New England are both in Connecticut. One is in the former Hobby Lobby at 241 Buckland Street in Manchester, and the other is in the former JOANN Fabric at 1405 Boston Post Road in Milford.

What to Expect Inside Spirit Christmas Dartmouth

The stores will feature the trademark Candy Cane Express and Inflatable Land, as well as the opportunity for photos with Santa Claus, in addition to thousands of holiday-themed products for sale.
