Second Brockton Teen Arrested in Connection With Easton Teen Shooting
EASTON (WBSM) — A second Brockton teenager has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a teen girl in Easton earlier this month.
Easton Police Chief Keith Boone announced today that Xavion Barnes, 19, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact regarding the January 14 incident at the Avalon apartment complex in Easton in which a 16-year-old girl was shot in the face.
This morning, an arrest warrant was issued for Barnes, and he was later taken into custody without incident in Brockton by Easton Police detectives with assistance from Brockton Police and Massachusetts State Police.
He was expected to be arraigned this afternoon in Taunton District Court.

It was the second arrest in the case in just two days, after Anthony Lopes, 18, of Brockton was arrested Monday and charged with assault and battery with a firearm, armed robbery with a firearm, possession of a large capacity firearm, and carrying a firearm without a license.
