Easton Police Investigating After Teen Girl Is Shot
EASTON (WBSM) — A teenage girl was found suffering from life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound this afternoon in Easton.
Easton Police Chief Keith Boone said officers responded to a 911 call at about 2:30 p.m. this afternoon of a reported shooting at an apartment complex on Robert Drive.
He said the suspects fled the area before police arrived at the scene. The officers located a teenage girl suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton and then medflighted to a Boston hospital. Boone called her injuries “serious” and “life-threatening.”
“Police believe that this was an isolated incident and not a random act of violence. There is no ongoing threat to the community’s safety,” Boone said.
The investigation remains active and ongoing by Easton Police and Massachusetts State Police. Boone said residents should expect an increased police presence at the scene.
