
New Bedford Woman Charged with Murder in Deadly Taunton House Party Shooting
TAUNTON (WBSM) — A New Bedford woman has been arrested and charged with murder in the deadly house party shooting that took place in Taunton last weekend.
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced that Sienna Barboza, 25, was arrested and charged with one count of murder and seven counts of armed assault with intent to murder for her role in the shooting.
Barboza is expected to be arraigned this morning at 9 a.m. in Taunton District Court.

Weir Street House Party Shooting Timeline
Taunton Police received several 911 calls at about 12:37 a.m. on September 6 reporting shots fired and multiple people shot in the area of Weir Street and Sumner Street. Officers responded and learned the shooting occurred at a home on Weir Street. Near the intersection with Sumner Street, they found multiple gunshot victims, who were then transported to area hospitals for treatment.
One of the victims, Zirovick Depina, 22, of Brockton, was pronounced deceased Sunday morning. In total, there were eight people shot, all in their early 20s. One of the remaining victims was last said to be in serious but stable condition, and the others all suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation by Taunton Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the D.A.’s Office.
