WDNR Seeking Man Who Tossed Multiple Tickets Down Storm Drain

WAREHAM —The Wareham Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man caught on surveillance footage taking parking tickets off of cars and throwing them into a storm drain.

WDNR posted a video Facebook showing a man and a woman walking by three parked cars, all with parking tickets resting on the windshield. As the two walked by, the man is seen in taking the tickets off the cars, then exchanging words with the woman he was walking with before putting them into the storm drain.

WDNR says the storm drain the man tossed the tickets into leads to an adjoining coastal waterway, adding that “the marine life in Onset Bay will not be appreciative of his littering.”

The ticketed cars will be null and voided by the town as a result.
