Wareham Police Report Two Arrests

Wareham Police say they've arrested a shoplifter. Officers arrested 27-year old Jessica Tavares of Bourne Monday around 5:30 p.m.

She was accused of stealing items from the 7-Eleven store on Cranberry Highway in East Wareham. She faces arraignment in Wareham District Court.

Police also arrested a Plympton man following a weekend disturbance in Wareham. Police responded to a report of an incident on Claudia Street Sunday afternoon around 2:45.

Thirty-year-old John Guilford Jr. of Plympton was arrested on several charges, including disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and threats to commit a crime.
