WAREHAM — Two men are arrested in Wareham after trying to flee from police.

On Wednesday around noon, a Wareham Police detective observed 26-year-old Brandon Pratt of East Wareham as a passenger in a car on Cranberry Highway, near Water Wizz. The detective was aware of an active arrest warrant for Pratt and attempted to pull the car over.

The vehicle in question then fled and entered Route 25, westbound, with the detective following. A Massachusetts State Trooper heard the radio transmissions and was able to stop the car near the Route 195 on-ramp.

Pratt was arrested on the warrant and the operator of the car, 26-year-old Logan Orcutt of West Wareham, was placed under arrest for failure to stop for a police officer. Both subjects were transported to Wareham Police headquarters for processing before being taken to court.
