Two Men Accused of Assaulting Wareham Mobile Home Resident

Two Lakeville men are under arrest, following an assault at the Great Hill Mobile Home Park in West Wareham.

Police responded to the mobile home park on Wednesday afternoon on a report of a disturbance.

After an investigation, Police determined a resident had been attacked by the two men, who are workers at the mobile home park.

Fifty-eight-year-old Robert Chaves and 29-year old Richard Chaves, both of Lakeville were charged with assault and battery on a person over 60.

Richard Chaves was also charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over 60.

Police Chief John Walcek says the dangerous weapon was a boot. No other details were disclosed.
