Wareham Police arrest two people on drug charges Thursday night.

Police Chief Kevin Walsh says detectives executed a search warrant at 96 Plymouth Ave in East Wareham, and found 31-year-old Elizabeth Taylor of Plymouth in the driveway in possession of unprescribed Suboxone strips and a hypodermic needle.

The resident of the home, 55-year-old Anthony Walters, was stopped in his vehicle nearby, carrying a plastic baggie containing suspected heroin and $400 cash. A search of his home turned up a digital scale, suspected cocaine residue in a glass tube, baking soda, plastic baggies, and records of illegal drug sales.

Taylor was charged with possession of a Class B substance. Walters faces charges of possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, subsequent offense, and possession of a Class B substance.

Both were arraigned in Wareham District Court.
