Third Person Arrested in Wareham Home Invasion
WAREHAM — A third person has been arrested in connection to a home invasion in Wareham earlier this week.
Police arrested Daniel Russ, 38, of Marstons Mills, following a motor vehicle stop by Massachusetts State Police on I-195 in Marion at about 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
Russ is being held on $100,000 bail and is expected to be arraigned Thursday in Wareham District Court.
Russ was being sought by police in connection to a home invasion on Tuesday at a Choctaw Drive residence. A male victim told police that two men and a woman had broken into the home and began beating him with a baseball bat before stealing cash and fleeing.
Wareham Police identified the suspects and arrested Katherine Greene, 31, of Bourne, and Jeffrey Johnson, 24, of East Wareham.
All three suspects face charges of home invasion, armed robbery and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
