Swansea Welcomes New Jr's Seaside Tavern

SWANSEA (WBSM) — A new tavern in Swansea has officially opened its doors just in time for the new year.

JR's Seaside Tavern is the newest addition to the Ocean Grove neighborhood. The restaurant occupies the former Happy Clam located at 378 Ocean Grove Avenue, nestled right near the water for a picturesque location.

According to Jr's Facebook page, the menu offers a blend of American and Portuguese cuisines.

If dining in, the atmosphere is infused with a "lively" and "rhythmic" ambiance that you can also experience through live musical performances.

The menu has items from different styles of appetizers to burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches. A full menu of their items and drinks will be available online today.

Jr's Seaside Tavern is open Tuesday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
