State Police Identify Victim in Wareham Crash

Massachusetts State Police have now identified the man killed in a fatal crash this morning in Wareham.

State Police received calls at about 3 a.m. Thursday reporting a car fire on Route 25 eastbound just before exit 2 in Wareham.

Emergency responders found the vehicle against a tree in the median strip, fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and found a deceased victim inside the vehicle.

He is identified as 60-year old Frank Mctighe of Holbrook. The crash remains under investigation.

No other details are being released.
