One Killed In Westport Crash
One man has died following a head-on crash with a landscaping truck on Route 177 in Westport.
Gregg Miliote, a spokesman for Bristol County District Attorney's Office, told WBSM News that 39-year-old Todd Dupont was pronounced dead following the crash.
Miliote says Dupont's Kia sports utility vehicle veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a landscaping truck sometime between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Monday.
The truck's driver, identified as Tyler Ribeiro, sustained minor injuries.
The incident remains under investigation but Miliote says no charges are pending.
