Ocean State Job Lot Seeks Beer and Wine License for Fairhaven Store

FAIRHAVEN — Ocean State Job Lot is looking to add beer and wine sales to its Fairhaven location.

The Fairhaven Advocate is reporting that a motion to approve a Section 15 license for Job Lot to sell beer and wine was approved 2-0 at Monday night's Board of Selectmen meeting.

According the the paper, the alcohol products would be in a 100-square foot display covered by security cameras, and no employee under 18 would be allowed to handle the products.

The store still needs state approval before it can begin offering beer and wine sales.
