So it's been awhile since I've blogged on here, and I apologize for that. Things have been heating up with our Legend Trips events, and we've got a full fall slate.

Our next event coming up on October 12 is Haunted History Night 2013 in Wareham. We have four different buildings that we investigate as part of this event--the Fearing Tavern, built in 1690; the Old Methodist Meetinghouse (1835), the One-Room Schoolhouse (1825) and the Union Chapel (1880). Where else can you investigate an old tavern that is over 320 years old? And Legend Trips is your only way in!

We were the first people allowed to investigate the Fearing Tavern back in 2008, and the place came alive for us! You can listen to the episode of Spooky Southcoast in which we played some of the EVPs we captured and shared some of our experiences from that investigation.

Over the past couple of years we've held Haunted History Night each October and had tons of personal experiences and evidence as a result. You can go to the event page and hear the EVP that Jeff Belanger recorded at last year's Haunted History Night. It was the first he'd ever caught in his more than 15 years of paranormal research, and he captured it using the original Spiricom tones.

But what's especially interesting is that this year, we'll be bringing along the Kinect camera system, developed by THE ghost gadget guy, Bill Chappell. There are only three of these systems in existence; Bill has two, and Legend Trips has the only other one, as we are his official East Coast beta testers for the system. We used it this past weekend at Slater Mill and now we're bringing it to Wareham!

Of course, what's important is that this is one of the biggest fundraisers all year for the Wareham Historical Society to maintain these historic properties. Over the years, we've raised nearly $16,000 to help benefit the locations where we hold our events!

You can purchase your tickets for Haunted History Night here.

Some come on and join us at this, and/or our other Legend Trip this fall, November 9 at the Haunted S.K. Pierce Victorian Mansion in Gardner, MA. Only six tickets remain for that event!
