Middleboro Man Allegedly Stabs Mother’s Boyfriend to Death
MIDDLEBORO (WBSM) — A Middleboro man is charged with murder in the stabbing death of his mother’s boyfriend Saturday night.
According to Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz and Middleboro Police Chief Robert Ferreira, the incident occurred at about 8:03 p.m. on June 28. Middleboro Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a fight and a man stabbed at a residence at 19 Fairview Street.
First responders arrived to find Paul Pomerleau, 66, suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Morton Hospital in Taunton, where he was pronounced deceased at 8:52 p.m.

Middleboro Police launched an investigation along with Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and identified Andrew Horsman, 41, as the suspect. He was taken into custody without incident “in close proximity to the residence,” the authorities said.
According to the authorities, witnesses on the scene reported there was an argument at the home that led to the stabbing. The authorities said Pomerleau had been in a long-term relationship with Horsman’s mother.
Horsman is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow on a charge of murder in Wareham District Court.
