BROCKTON (WBSM) — Legendary punk rock band NOFX is bringing the band’s final tour to Brockton’s Campanelli Stadium this summer, and they’re bringing some of Massachusetts’ favorite sons with them.

NOFX will play its final Massachusetts shows on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 at Campanelli headlining the Punk in Drublic Festival, with Quincy’s Dropkick Murphys joining them on Sunday.

The festival will feature other prominent bands of the punk scene as well. On Saturday, Circle Jerks, The Bouncing Souls, The Defiant, Sick of It All, Suicide Machines, Codefendants and Rebuilder are all on the bill with NOFX.

On Sunday, NOFX and the Dropkicks are joined by Lagwagon, The Flatliners, Teenage Bottlerocket, Catbite, Far From Finished and Colin of Arabia.

The final tour for NOFX coincides with the band’s 40th anniversary, with the tour built around “40 years, 40 cities, 40 songs per day.”

According to the Punk in Drublic website, “NOFX will perform 40 songs a night, including full albums and rarities at all shows during the NOFX Final Tour, plus they will never repeat a setlist to ensure that each show is unique.”

In addition, the festival features craft beer tastings for those attendees who are 21-plus from noon to 3 p.m. each day, featuring local and regional breweries.

Tickets are already on sale and started at $59, but some pricing tiers have already sold out. VIP packages are also available up to $999 that include a meet-and-greet with NOFX, the chance to watch the show from the stage and more.
