Prosecutors in Middlesex and Essex counties as well as on Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are suspending the use of Breathalyzer tests over concerns about possibly questionable results.

Gregg Miliote, a spokesman with the Bristol County District Attorney's Office, says roughly 20 of their cases may be impacted.

Miliote says if they determine that those results are not in compliance with state regulations they will not use those test results in the prosecution of those cases.

The Associated Press says the the possible problem has to do with the Draeger machines' calibration.

The State Executive Office of Public Safety is investigating.
