ATTLEBORO (WBSM) — A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash this morning in Attleboro.

According to Attleboro Fire Chief Scott T. Lachance, the department responded at about 9:51 a.m. today to a reported motorcycle crash on Interstate 95 South near the Rhode Island state line.

First responders arrived to find the bike and its operator about 500 feet from where it had apparently collided with another vehicle.

Lachance said the driver of the motorcycle was taken to a nearby trauma center with life-threatening injuries. His condition is not known at this time, and his identity has not been released.

He said the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
