Cuckoo for Cookies

Were you aware that Saturday, July 5 was National Cookie Day?! Unfortunately I was not, and did not celebrate accordingly. Although, we did make up for it today thanks to our wonderful listeners who sent some love in the form of delicious cookies.

Phil's favorite cookie is the Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafer, but said that he had no idea where to find them. Joann was kind enough to stop at not one, not two, but THREE different stores to hunt down these treats! He was eternally grateful for her generosity, as well as Jim Casey's for the oatmeal raisin cookies! And who could forget the Girl Scout "Thin Mints" we received from Tenney Lantz? "Once a Girl Scout, always a Girl Scout."

Thank you so much for sharing your favorite cookies with us on air, and congratulations to the classic Oreo for earning the title of "America's Favorite Cookie!" Certainly no false advertising there folks!
