Wareham Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

WAREHAM — Wareham Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in an armed robbery.

Police responded to the Wareham Country Market on Marion Road on Friday night after receiving a report of an armed robbery at the store.

The suspect was described as a black male, between 5'6" and 5'8", between 160 and 170 pounds, wearing a black sweatshirt and a bandana over his face. The suspect allegedly showed a gun and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Wareham Police, along with a K-9 unit from the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office, searched the area but did not locate the suspect.
