Thomas M. Gomes, 33, of 212 Wareham St. in Middleboro is charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws, possession of a firearm without a permit, and possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, subsequent offense.

Around $46,000 cash, five cell phones and digital scales were seized from the 353 Onset Ave. address. At the Midway Street location, detectives seized a firearm, suspected cocaine, and multiple items consistent with illegal drug sales, police said.

When placed into custody, Gomes had over $2,300 cash in his possession in addition to multiple cell phones, and Crumbley had over $100 in cash, according to Wareham police.

It was reportedly part of a regional sweep that involved DEA-assisted arrests in Taunton, Fall River, and Middleboro on March 25. Wareham Police Chief John Walcek said multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the regional action, and that a total of six warrants were executed.
