Wareham Man Killed in Workplace Accident

A Wareham man was killed in a workplace accident this week.

The Plymouth County District Attorney's Office says 37-year-old Scott Frey was on the job at Hi-Way Safety Systems in Rockland Monday evening when he fell between a loading dock and a tractor trailer that was backing up.

A preliminary investigation shows Frey suffered severe head trauma after he lost his footing while guiding the truck to the dock, and fell between the loading dock and the truck's bumper.

He was transported to South Shore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The incident is under investigation.
