Tow Truck Drug Arrests In Wareham
Wareham Police arrest two men following after pulling over a tow truck at the end of Swifts Beach Road Thursday morning.
Interim Police Chief Kevin Walsh says at around 10:00 a.m. officers pulled over a J & R Towing truck.
During the course of an investigation officers found the passenger, identified as 29-year-old Maxx Phillips, in possession of a cigarette package containing powder consistent with heroin.
A spoon and an open bottle of water, which are items consistent with the use of heroin, were located on the front seat between Phillips and the driver, identified as 40-year-old Joshua McKee .
Phillips was charged with Conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act and Possession of class A substance (heroin).
McKee was charged with Knowingly being present where heroin is kept and Conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act.
Both were arraigned Thursday afternoon at Wareham District Court.
