Attleboro Police are investigating after an SUV crashed into a cannabis dispensary Thursday afternoon.

The two Attleboro teenagers killed in a crash in the city early Sunday morning have been identified.

A 45-year-old Coventry man was sentenced on Monday to up to 15 years in prison for breaking into a church and then starting a shootout with Attleboro police.

Police are asking for the public's help in searching for a missing teenager who police said ran away from a group home in Attleboro last week.

Kayla Cantu is accused of stabbing a man and woman in a drug dispute, and the female victim died.

A rape kit from 1994 was retested, a DNA profile was uploaded to a national database, and a suspect was identified by the Bristol County DA.

20-year-old Kayla Cantu was arrested in Providence on Sunday.

The man ran from police and threw a bag into the bushes, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.

The man reportedly fled the scene and collapsed in the mudroom of a home in Attleboro after screaming for help.

Homeowners discovered the body and called police.
