State and local olice are investigating the unattended death of a 44-year-old Attleboro woman who was reported missing on Monday, according to the Office of Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III.

The body of Janessa Isaacs was discovered in the back yard of 32 Mary Street sometime between 4 and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday by residents of the home.  The residents immediately called police.  Foul play is not suspected at this time.

 Police had been searching for Isaacs since Monday morning. Her longtime boyfriend had contacted police out of concern for her well-being.

 The state Medical Examiner’s Office has taken custody of her body and will conduct an autopsy and toxicology tests to determine an exact cause and manner of death.

Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Bristol County DA's office are working with Attleboro Police detectives to conduct the investigation.
