Swansea Police Seek Suspects In Jewelry Store Robbery

Swansea Police are looking for two suspects following a jewelry store robbery Sunday afternoon.

Detective Patrick Mooney says that at 1:45 p.m. two men entered the City Jewelers located within the Swansea Mall.

Mooney says one man distracted the employee enabling the other man to steal a large amount of jewelry.

No weapons were involved and no injuries were reported.

A complete inventory of store merchandise hasn't been completed.

Both suspects are described as black males, both of whom were wearing blue baseball type caps.

Mooney says one suspect was wearing what was described as a blue and white plaid shirt.

The other suspect was wearing what was described as a solid blue short sleeve shirt.
