
Swansea Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges, Firearms Seized
SWANSEA (WBSM) — A Swansea man was arrested for possession of child pornography on Wednesday, and later was hit with additional charges for firearms offenses.
According to Swansea Police, Bryan Golden, 33, was taken into custody without incident at about 6 a.m. on February 18 at his home at 300 Pamela Drive.
Police detectives and patrol officers were assisting the Massachusetts State Police's Cyber Crimes Unit and Special Tactics and Operations Team (STOP) in executing a warrant after the CCU’s investigation suggested Golden was allegedly in possession of child pornography.

Firearms Seized During Swansea Search
While executing the search warrant, Swansea Police detectives found and seized five firearms from the home: a Smith & Wesson M&P rifle, a Ruger 10/22 rifle, a Remington rifle, a Mossberg rifle and a Mosin-Nagant rifle.
Charges Filed Against the Suspect
State police charged him with possession of child pornography, while Swansea Police later charged him with possession of a large capacity firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm without an FID card, and a firearm violation with a prior violent crime.
Golden was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Fall River District Court.

"This arrest was the result of a coordinated effort between our detectives and our partners at the Massachusetts State Police," Swansea Police Chief Mark Foley said. "The Swansea Police Department is committed to working collaboratively with our law enforcement partners to investigate serious offenses and ensure that our community is safe and protected."
