
New Bedford Woman Sentenced for Fentanyl Distribution
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — A New Bedford woman was sentenced to state prison recently after pleading guilty to distributing fentanyl.
Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III said Sherri Fagone, 40, pleaded guilty in Fall River Superior Court on January 16 to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
She was sentenced to serve a year and a half to four years in state prison.

The Arrest and Search Warrant
On July 12, 2023, Massachusetts State Police executed a search warrant at Fagone’s residence of 434 North Front Street, Apartment 1. Fagone was the listed target of the search.
She was cooperative with police during the search, pointing out 47 grams of fentanyl in her bedroom along with $645 in cash. A small bag of fentanyl was also found on her person.
Prior Criminal Record
The D.A.’s Office said Fagone had a prior drug conviction out of New Bedford District Court in 2019. According to the Cape Cod Times, she was found with 15.6 grams of fentanyl during that arrest.
