State Trooper Injured

A Massachusetts State Trooper was injured due to an apparent accidental weapon discharge.

State Police say the incident occurred on Tuesday at the department's Emergency Vehicle Operations Center in Devens.

The trooper was transported by medical helicopter to UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

The incident remains under investigation.

The trooper's name and medical condition hasn't been released.
