State Police Seize Cocaine In Wareham Traffic Stop
Mass. State Police make a big cocaine bust after stopping an S-U-V with excessively tinted windows Tuesday on Route 25 eastbound in Wareham.
During a search of the vehicle, troopers found two large bags of cocaine, each one the size of a baseball.
Also recovered were four bottles of chemicals used by drug dealers to "cut" or dilute the cocaine. A Barnstable Sheriff's Department canine was called in, and located a small bag of marijuana in the rear seat.
The suspects, 39 year old Eric Brando of Mashpee, 44-year old Jose Olivo-Rivera of Osterville, and 41 year old Gunnar Cahoon of Ssouth Yarmouth were booked at the Bourne barracks.
All were charged with trafficking cocaine and other drug violations.
