Police: Suspect in Middleboro Homicides Related to Victims

MIDDLEBORO — The man arrested in connection with a double homicide in Middleboro this morning is related to the victims, police said.

At a press conference this afternoon, Middleboro Police Chief Joseph Perkins said that 21-year-old Ryan True was related to the victims, but would not give a motive or release the names of the victims.

Police were called to 3 Highland Street for a well-being check after separate co-workers of both a male resident and a female resident of the home reported they had not shown up for work.

When police arrived at the home at about 6:32 a.m., they were unable to get a response from the residents. After gaining entry to the home, the two bodies were discovered inside.

The homicides remain under investigation by Middleboro Police and investigators from the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office.

Perkins said True will be arraigned on Friday.
