Over 60 grams of Cocaine Found on Onset Woman

A check of an illegally parked car leads to the discovery of a multitude of drugs in Wareham.

Wareham Police say an officer noticed the illegally parked car around 1:30am Friday morning at the Woods at Wareham apartment complex. Upon investigating the vehicle, the officer noticed a plastic baggie containing 20 grams of cocaine on the female occupant's person.

A search of the car turned up two small bags containing marijuana.

Arrested was 24-year-old Courtney Cardoza of Onset, who was searched further at the Wareham police station, turning up another 45 grams of cocaine and three small bags of suspected heroin.

Cardoza has been arraigned on charges of trafficking cocaine, and possession of heroin and marijuana with intent to distribute.
