FALL RIVER — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced it will be conducting routine inspection work on the Braga Bridge beginning Monday, September 23rd.

The work will include the cleaning of drainage structures on the bridge carrying I-195 over the Taunton River. The work is expected to last approximately two weeks and will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

While work is being performed, single-lane closures of the righthand travel lane will be required at times. Traffic management will utilize police details.

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution. All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency situation.
