Man Injured in Brockton Shooting
UPDATE: Brockton Police have updated their statement to reflect that the shooting actually took place on Fuller Street.
BROCKTON — Brockton police confirmed the department is investigating a shooting in which a male victim was injured that took place near a city playground on Friday.
Director of Communications for Brockton Police Darren Duarte said the man's injury is non-life-threatening.
He said that the shooting took place shortly before 1 p.m. near West Harvard Street and Marciano Way.

The two streets intersect right near the James Edgar Playground parking lot.
No further details were disclosed.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
