Lawmakers Reject Expanded Bottle Bill

Massachusetts lawmakers have decided not to expand the state's bottle bill. The proposal would have applied a five-cent deposit to non-carbonated beverages such as sports drinks and bottled-water. The Senate approved the Bill in their budget plan, but it didn't make it through committee.
