Dartmouth Police Arrest Two Women in Alleged Shoplifting Ring
DARTMOUTH (WBSM) — Two women were arrested following a shoplifting incident on Faunce Corner Road that police believe is connected to a "retail crime group."
Kaytlyn Lynch, 20, and Brooklyn Burns, 21, both of Dorchester, are charged with two counts of shoplifting over $250 by concealing merchandise and one count of receiving stolen property.
On Friday, July 19, Dartmouth Police responded to a shoplifting call at Kohl’s.

According to witnesses, two females left the department store with multiple concealed items before fleeing in a dark vehicle.
Both women admitted to taking various items from Kohl’s during a traffic stop a short time later, police said.
Additional items were also located in the car, which the police believed to be from another store.
After a brief investigation, Dartmouth Police learned that over $4,000 of merchandise had been stolen from Kohl’s, Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works and Ulta Beauty.
All merchandise was returned to the stores.
Police believe the women may be part of an organized retail crime group that is allegedly responsible for shoplifting thousands of dollars worth of merchandise across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
