I would have been much happier had President Donald J. Trump not been impeached, but we've known for three and a half years that this day was coming, so here it is. And not much is different as a result.

For the dopes who believed that impeaching the president would mean he would be gone this morning, learn civics. Trump is here to stay. He is going nowhere.

In fact, the impeachment of Trump has made him stronger and more popular than ever. It all but guarantees his re-election next year. It has also caused irreparable harm to the Democrat Party and the nation. But I'll let the Democrats worry about themselves.

I was at an office party last night when the news broke that Trump had been impeached. No one flinched. No one talked about it. There was no reaction at all. It was expected. It was the fulfilling of a mission for those who could not accept the results of the 2016 elections and vowed from day one to "impeach the mother------!"

For Trump supporters and those who have joined the chorus after watching Democrats waste three and a half years and tens of millions of dollars with nothing to show for it, the impeachment of Donald Trump is simply a reminder of what we are up against. It has energized us.

Nothing really is much different today than yesterday other than the fact that the Democrat resistance and the mainstream news media are even less relevant than they were.

Yesterday I was a deplorable, today I am an impeached deplorable. And so it goes.

Stay strong, Virginia!
