There apparently will be a delay in the investigation into what started the fire Wednesday morning at 132 Holly Street in the North End.

Inspectors have determined that the structure is unstable, and until the building is shored up, members of the Fire Prevention Unit will not be allowed in.

Chef Michael Gomes tells WBSM News, the tenament is structurally unsound at this time.

The owner has brought in a demolition contractor, and a crew was working to stabilize the building late Wednesday.

Its believed the fire started on the first floor. A total of 15 people were left homeless, but no injuries were reported.
