Head On Crash On Tucker Road In Dartmouth

Two people are hospitalized following a two vehicle, head-on crash on Tucker Road in Dartmouth late Friday afternoon.

Dartmouth Police on their Facebook page, said the crash happened around 5:30pm, near Friend's Academy. Police, Fire and rescue crews responded.

One of the vehicles was a U-S Postal Service vehicle, and its 24 year old female operator was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

The second operator, a 43 years old man was transported to St. Lukes Hospital, then med-flighted from UMass Dartmouth  to Rhode Island Hospital. That person's condition is not known.

Dartmouth Police continue to investigate.
