This coming Sunday, Dash Laundromat is once again holding its annual Free Laundry Day, and this year’s edition will be bigger and better than ever.

On July 26, Dash will be offering free washing and drying at both of its locations, at 1 State Road in Dartmouth (in the Shaw’s plaza) and 124 West Rodney French Boulevard in the South End of New Bedford (across from Kilburn Mill), but Free Laundry Day is never just about, well, free laundry.

It’s a day where Dash can celebrate its loyal customers while also hopefully meeting some new ones.

What Freebies and Activities Are Available on Free Laundry Day?

Thanks to the Free Laundry Sponsors – including Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Fairhaven and Wareham, Team Roso-RE/MAX Vantage, and The Committee to Elect Ian Abreu – there will be other goodies and fun taking place on Sunday.

Tropical Smoothie will be on hand giving out free stuff, and there will be free Del’s Lemonade for everyone as well. Del’s will be at the Dartmouth location from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and then at the New Bedford location from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

How Does Free Laundry Day Work?

Free Laundry Day runs from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. at both locations, with a last wash time of 8 p.m. Every size washer and dryer will be free to use, but you will need to have Dash’s Speed Queen mobile app to operate them. You can download that now from your phone’s app store to be ready in advance, because your app will be verified at the door.

Customers can only use one washer at a time, and can only wash consumer laundry. No commercial or business laundry is allowed during Free Laundry Day. Free laundry is also valid on standard wash cycles only.

If you can't make it down to Dash for Free Laundry Day, you can still take advantage of Dash's Wash-Dry-Fold service that is just $1 per pound all this month, or the Wash-Dry-Go service (where they wash and dry, and you fold) for just 85 cents per pound.
