Handcuffed Suspect Sought By Somerville Police Captured

Somerville Police are reporting that, that 18-year-old Gabriel Castillo Perez, a “known criminal MS 13 gang member” who escaped custody during transport, has been captured.

Police say Perez was located in Everett at approximately 11:30 a.m. and placed under arrest.

Perez was handcuffed and under federal custody during his arrest.

Local police and federal agencies were involved in the search for Perez.
