Final License Awarded to Wareham Marijuana Retailer

BOSTON — The Cannabis Control Commision approved the final license for a Wareham marijuana retailer on Thursday.

Pharmacannis Massachusetts already operates a medical marijuana dispensary in Wareham, and now hopes to soon begin to sell recreational marijuana.

The Wareham business is the third in the state to have been awarded the final license to sell the product.  No one has begun selling the recreational pot as of yet, but the businesses in Northampton and Leicester are expected to begin within the next couple of weeks.

Before Pharmacannis of Wareham can offer the recreational marijuana to the public, it must register all their employees with regulators and enter product inventory in a state database.
