I used to love reading as a kid. My mom instilled a love of books at a very young age and it continues to this day. If someone were to tell me that I could have a big box of books for just five dollars, I probably would have peed my pants with excitement. Thankfully, I do not have to go to the bathroom because it turns out that this dream is a reality at a thrift store in Fall River.

Red Ribbon is a thrift store that “sells tons of everyday items at steeply discounted prices.” We found a post on Facebook that poses a challenge for the little bookworms in your life.

“Here at Red Ribbon thrift, we are starting a new daily deal! We are now offering a 'pick-your-own box of books' for just $5! You may bring in any size box that you like and fill it up with any books that you'd like for only $5!”

If you think that this deal sounds too good to be true and you’re wondering what the catch is, there is just one stipulation. In order to pay just five dollars for any size box full of books, “you must be able to carry the box out of the store with no help. You can fill your box up with as many books that your arms can handle!”

With over one hundred book titles across all genres available, your book lover is sure to find something to enjoy. Please note that all shopping is done by appointment only. Once an appointment is confirmed, an address will be provided. “Feel free to give us a call at 508-675-4706 after 10 am to make an appointment today.”
