Bristol County DA Investigating Fall River Homicide

FALL RIVER (WBSM) — The Fall River man who was shot February 9 near the intersection of Nashua Street and Blackstone Street died yesterday afternoon at Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said that the death of Joshua Medeiros, 34, is now being investigated as a homicide.

Homicide Unit prosecutor Russ Eonas is coordinating the investigation, which will be conducted by Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office and detectives from the Fall River Police Department.

No further details have been released.
