FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Fall River Police have arrested a woman and charged her with multiple drug crimes.

According to police, members of the department’s Vice, Gang and Intelligence Unit conducted a surveillance operation in Fall River’s South End on Tuesday, November 7.

During that time, officers observed an alleged drug transaction at the SouthCoast Marketplace.

The officers arrested the woman who allegedly made the transaction, identified as Ashley Cabral, 29.

Police said the officers seized 144 blue glassine bags containing fentanyl, 11.46 grams of crack cocaine, 12.11 grams of cocaine, 293.94 grams of methamphetamine, 52 assorted prescription pills, and $490 in cash.

Cabral was previously arrested on drug charges and motor vehicle violations in April 2021 after police discovered her parked in the middle of a road at 2:45 a.m.
