After a successful first year, The Fairhaven Office of Tourism and the Millicent Library Youth Services are excited to bring back Kids Fest to the lawns of Fairhaven High School and the Visitors Center for a day of fall fun.

Get your costumes and pumpkin-carving skills ready for a day with the family on October 8th.

Kids will get a chance to meet with real pirates as Pirates of the Cape host activities and games, and Friends of the Millicent Library will host pumpkin painting, with pumpkins provided by Barbosa Family Farm.

Kids' axe throwing and demonstrations of Viking fighting tactics will take place all day long while P.A.C.E. Child Care works will take care of fall craft activities.

Vendors will be on-site and there will be plenty of options for food, from gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches by George H. Taber Lodge to cookie decorating kits by Cyd’s Creative Kitchen.

Fairhaven Kids Fest is the perfect event to welcome the fall season and let kids be kids.

But let’s be honest, adults will enjoy pumpkin painting too.
