East Bridgewater Shooting Leaves Juvenile Injured
EAST BRIDGEWATER (WBSM) — The East Bridgewater Police Department is actively investigating after a juvenile male was shot in the parking lot of a condominium complex Thursday night.
Shortly before 9 p.m. on July 4, East Bridgewater Police received a 911 call reporting that a person was shot on Robins Street in the Pomponoho Pines condominium complex.
Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old male who had been shot in the stomach. Officials assisted the victim, who was then transported to a local hospital.
Investigations indicate that the victim and another 17-year-old male were riding on a motorized scooter when the shooting took place.
At this time, police say they do not believe the incident was random.
Police are actively investigating this incident and are following several leads.
